Maisie Parrish
Maisie Parrish, a great english cake designer, is well known all around the world by her sugar dough exclusive creations. She is a credited demonstrator by the British Sugarcraft Guild and she gives workshops in several countries, namely EUA, Brazil, Danmark, Sweden, Norway and Portugal. She published several books. Most of them are at this moment completely sold out except for Cakes with Character and Marzipan Magic (see the online shop). She is present in most of the International Shows and frequently teatches at Wilton and ICES, amongst others.
She discovered this art late in her life, after she retired from her Job, and quickly got addicted. She became a specialist very well known internationally. Her funny characters, can be distinguished by their difference and by the innovative themes like representing different human races, portrait and selfportrait and wild life protection campaigns - specially Bears and Pandas. Her cakes’ joyful colours and themes leave us astonished.
She releases a new cake every month, which keeps us always curious about the next.
