Marcela was born in Buenos Aires, in Argentina. She started early in the art of cake decoration, because her mother also had a school of homemade decorated cakes.
She was the art director at Marta Ballina's company, where cakes were made for magazines and television.
In 1996 Marcela Sanchez arrived to Brasil. There, she developed her own decoration technics and shortly became the national reference on cake design. She created her own school and published the "Bolando Bolos" magazine.
In 2001, she gained international recognition for the high quality of her work. She won several gold and excellence prizes at international competitions like the prestigious “Best in Show Award” in The Stoneleigh Exhibition (2004) in England, where she presented her lovely bride. Nowadays she gives classes in England, EUA and Portugal.
In 2005, she developed her own product line. She created the MS brand, which includes excellent sugarpastes and, recently, fantastic exclusive accessories.
